Earlier this week, Debby said she'd spill on the details about her band and her album as a thank you for helping her reach 3M followers on twitter. Yesterday, she finally let all her secrets pour out of her into her fans twitter timelines. When asked about what her album would sound like in three words, she responded by saying, "Crunchy, sassy, honest". Looks like Debby is giving us a sneak peek more into her life. Since the album is so honest, it will give a chance for people who don't know her that well to understand her and get that even though she's in the spotlight, she deals with a lot of the things we do. When she started talking about what song she's excited to share with us all, she said that "Mulholland Dr.," is at the top of her list. With that song, she shows us her honesty with her Hollywood life. In the song, it talks about the good times and the bad that she faces. A song she really dug recording happened to be "Shall We Dance". That already sounds like it's gonna be a good one! Has a totally awesome name. Kinda sassy. Wonder what it will actually sound like! Right now, all we have to do is guess. She also said that her bands dream is, "To tell stories, from a studio or a stage". They definitely are going to do a great job. In the chat, Debby mentioned that she wanted to go to a tour. The goal is everywhere. Even the UK!
Since she made the album with her brother producing it, there were definitely some craziness. When it comes to the drama queen in the group, she says that Chase takes that crown, but even though that is true, she says it's what makes him a genius. In the chat, she also referred to Chase as her inspiration. When she did an interview with NKD magazine a while back, she stated that he was the one who pushed her to take up singing, even though she was really hesitant about it. She really enjoyed making the album with the people she loved. She stated that one part she really was into about the entire process was that she could make the album and the entire thing with her best friends. Like, awww! Apparently, she also stated she knew Johnny forever then met Harry and Carman two years ago. Carman and Kyle are fairly new to Debby, but she's been growing closer to them over the past year! The band definitely helped bring them even more together, if that was even possible!
When it comes to music, Debby always had the mindset that music should be real and should be raw. During the chat, someone asked her if she would be using auto-tune on the album, to which she responded with, "Auto-tuned singing is an oxymoron, moron". When she was in New York for the Macy's thanksgiving parade, she did an interview about her album and talked about how she doesn't even want melodyne on the album. She definitely is going to make it as pure as possible for her fans. All the songs also come from her very own notebook. Her and her band definitely deserve credit for everything they're doing.
I guess we have to wait til spring to find out more! Debby will said she will keep us posted with videos and pictures of them all having a great time!
